Welcome to My Life ♥

*At Birth // 27th Aug 2014*
F I N A L L Y, like finallyyyy! *throws confetti*
I had my delivery date scheduled on an 'auspicious date', HUAT AAH! (ps: call me the superstitious aunty) and I'm glad that Baby Z was able to 'check out' on this date..
I had false alarm (like he's gonna come out) for a few times during my late pregnancy and that scared the shit outta me..
27th Aug 7am : Did my check-in at the 'hotel' for the next 3 days of stay.. Then I was brought to the maternity ward, and oh well, the nurses there must have tot to themselves 'a timid beech has arrived FHL'..
I have SUPER LOW tolerance of pain :(
27th Aug 8am : I was wheeled into the Operation Theatre (OT) and I was laughing all the way! Cant bliff it, I tot I would be crying like mad. The doctors x nurses knew how timid I was so they did their best to minimize the pain while putting the drip into my hand / taking my blood sample for the blood cord bank. I was treated like a boss in the OT because there were around 10 nurses to help, one was checkin on my blood pressure, one was giving me anaesthesia, one was injecting sumthing into my drip and before I got to know what the rest were doing, I fainted, fell asleep HAHAHA.
27th Aug 11am : Seriously anesthesia gave me the BEST SLEEP of my life. I could have slept longer but I was forcing myself to get up to check on the lil one's condition. No words could describe the feeling when you see ur son for the first time x
*Mami Loves You, Zaven Loo*
DAY 1 // Pain Level After C-Sect : 4/10 (more like period cramp hmmmm)
28th Aug : WAHHH Zaven, you're just 1 day old and you have a gf already aah? HAHAHAHAHA. My Lil Sis gave birth the next day and that's her pretty baby girl. We requested to sleep next to each other in the ward and our babies were even sleeping together! ONCE IN A LIFETIME MAN SO DIE DIE MUST BLOG. I got to experience the 'real pain' post-surgery today as the nurse removed my urinary catheter and I was forced to walk to the washroom ):

Thank gawd Hubby was there the whole day to support me in everything ♥
DAY 2 // Pain Level After C-Sect : 7/10
*At Confinement Centre*
Signed up for the same confinement centre as the Lil Sis but decided to forfeit my 500 bucks deposit and just go home. Thanks to the confinement nanny who scolded my baby infront of me @#$%$#@!
Thank gawd we managed to find another confinement centre at the last min.
Totally living the life of a boss : Having the room all by myself (tho it's freaking small), meals being served into my room 5 times a day, just press the bell whenever I wanna see my Baby Z and they will bring him up into my room.
A surprise from the sweetest thing came all the way from SG on our monthsary night. ILY B ♥
"A surprise for the beautiful wife, and lovable mother. We love you"
From Zaven and Daddy. x

*Full Moon*
According to Chinese customs, when a baby turns one-month old, we will celebrate his first full month of life.
And the babies will get their hair shaved. But but but... My Zaven's hair very nice leh for a newborn ):
Tho I was pretty reluctant, I gave the nanny a green light to shave his hair.
And I'm glad with that decision cz I think he looks cuter w/o hair HAHAHA.
LOOK AT THAT BALD HEADED BB! I WAS LAUGHIN NON STOP HAHAHAHA.
Full moon dinner x Full moon gifts to celebrate this happy occasion.♥
This naughty boy was sleeping throughout the dinner tho he was the star of the night hehe..
Getting to see him growing naughtier and fatter day by day is a gift. x
Being a parent is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I enjoy every stage from pregnancy to labour and it's my regret for not enjoying it to the fullest because,
BEING A MUM IS AWESOME!
I thank God for giving me these 2 boys in my life. Love you guys always, and forever.
xx
