Parenthood : 98% Loading! ♥

 In the blink of an eye, I'm counting down to the final day to see my Baby Z!

From finding out about the pregnancy to, living life in hell during the first trimester, to feeling his first kick (7th Apr), to having the gender surprise (3rd May), to second x third trimester..

Watching him grow from day to day, from the size of a poppy seed to the size of a wintermelon, to me, it is a big achievement.

Cant bliff that I have conquered the first x second trimester and 98% of the third trimester, and the next big thing?

The battle in the operation theatre which will bring me a new status, A MUM. (And of cz, a scar too)

Pregnancy has been pretty bearable on me EXCEPT for my first trimester (alright mebbe not that easy after all) :/

  I am blessed with stretch-marks-free belly, rare leg cramps and backache despite my spine condition.

As the big day is drawing nearer, I am getting nightmare more frequently..

Afraid of going into the operation theatre, the pain after surgery, how to carry a bb (I dun even know WTF), and shoo many more!

Plus the tot of needing to follow the traditional confinement rules is STRESSING ME OUT D:`

Thank god I have Lil Sis as my companion, we're expecting our babies at the same timing! Coincidence or wat? :D

Here I am, done packing my hospital bag. I hope that I did pack courage along with me.

Words cant describe how grateful I am to God for blessing me with this baby and a healthy pregnancy.

The next thing I pray for is a safe delivery x healthy baby.

Counting Down ♥

H E L L O! Mama Blogger is back.Sorryyy bloggie for the SLOW update. 

Ever since I got preg, I have been reallyyyy lazy x stupid x forgetful. *points finger at pregnancy*

Mama Blogger is currently in her 31st week of pregnancy. Pregnancy is gonna be over in 7 weeks time. Walao time, u're on bullet train aah?

Well I'm sorry if you are reading this with an empty tummy. This is what u get for reading a preg lady's blog HAHAHA.

Come onnnnn, PREGNANCY IS ALL ABOUT FOOD. I'm eating for two pleaseeee *ahem excuse* :P 

Mind you, I'm a glutton mamaaaa. I have pretty HUGE appetite which explains why I have gained 7kg throughout the pregnancy. 

Howey Junior weighs about 1.6kg now, which is slightly heavier than other babies around his week.♥

 'I'M HUNGRY' is my fav line these days because ppl will bring me FOOD! :P

Preg relli dai sai wan HAHAHA. Pity the Hubby as he has to endure my chicken rice craving because that is like his son's fav food HAHAHA.

 TBF, it feels pretty embarrassing when I am still eating while the rest have already stop eating. But boh pian lor, if I dont feed that naughty boy of mine, he's not gonna leave me alone :P 

Sometimes he kicks shoo often after my meal, I don't even know if that's a sign of him liking or hating the food I eat.

It was indeed a diff birthday this year. Now, I am carrying a license of a wife and a mum.

I know it's a tough job but I will learn, for the sake of these 2 boys in my life.♥ ♥

 

Howey Senior x Howey Junior, they are both my priorities now x.

A healthy and happy lil family is all I ever wished for ♥ Simple as that.  

Lately, I've been dreaming a lot bout hospital wards (This will be my first hospitalization FYI). It feels shoo surreal, OHMGEE I dun even wanna think bout the pain that I will be facing ):

Even dreamt of how Howey Junior looks like! His name says it all, totally like his dad ♥.♥

Counting down to the big day! I wonder is he gonna be August or September baby? 

But definitely not July baby aah Howey Jr! You're still too small! Enjoy ur last month of stay in Mama's tummy :P

Alright he's kicking while I'm typing this so I guess he's acknowledging. Good boy HEHEHE!

My "Honeymoon" Period ♥

Mamaaaa blogger is back ♥ Nope this is not a blog post bout my honeymoon trip with Hubby.

To most women (like me!), second trimester is our honeymoon period. So WHYYY honeymoon period?

Because morning sickness has ended (touch wood!), and my energy is back! I'm able to go out again! :DD

*Healthy Diet*

HAHAHA eating healthy is totally pian ren de. I ate lots of fast food and instant noodles and I cant say no to sugary drinks especially bubble milk tea. *slap slap*

But for the sake of Howey Junior, I've been spamming lots of supplements. (SUPER KIA SU HAHAHA)

*Food Cravings x Food Aversion*

Ppl usually say that during pregnancy, you will tend to eat things you don't normally eat and the food you love will turn you off. THIS IS SHOO TRUE PLS. 

Ppl who knows me well,knows that I'm totally a tomyam lady. But now I hate it so much to the extent that you cannot mention tomyam / BKK / or anything related to Thai to me. It makes me feel nauseated -_________-

And now I have serious craving for oriental cuisine, which I don't usually eat before I got preg.

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, VIVIEN ONG? *points finger at Howey Junior* :P

*Eating For Two*

 I am ALWAYS hungry x ALWAYS eating. Am currently into my 6th month pregnancy and I've gained like 4 - 5kg already?:3

Although doc said it's normal but it was such a shock to see the num on the weighing scale! On the other side, a lot of  ppl say that I look like 4 months preg instead of 6 hehe.

(Another excuse to eat more HAHAHA)

*Getting Ready*

Howey Junior : Daddy Daddyyyyy, what are you doing with my 'car'? :/

Alright this Howey Senior over here, is really obsessed with stroller, especially the MINI brand.

My vote is with the Union Jack one, and his is the black one. So who's with me? :DD

 I am almost ready to be a mum. Except the part of giving birth. OHMGEE JUST KILL ME ):

I will be choosing C-Section, which I don't get much support on this, especially my mum.

I know it's gonna hurt like hell after the operation and takes longer time to heal but better than natural birth without epidural (due to my spine condition). 

Urghhhh either way is gonna hurt like fuck. SIGHH I have super low tolerance of pain mannnn ): ): ):

*My Baby Is A Future Footballer*

Buay tahan with this Howey Junior. I think he spends like 70% of his time kicking his mum and 30% sleeping. 

He is SHOOOO active that when I did my detail scan, the radiologist had a hard time to take pics of him because he was busy moving around. HAHAHA.

Whenever he kicks, it automatically puts a smile on my face. Especially it feels damn ticklish hehehe.

Being a mum is really awesome. HOWEY JUNIOR is the best thing that ever happened to me ♥

Welcoming Howey Junior ♥

*Friday 10th Jan*

Shortness of breathe, Fatigue, Feelin feverish. And.. a missed period.

However, I had my usual PMS symptoms that month so I tot I was fallin sick. (Ironically, preg symptoms are pretty alike with PMS)

The cheapo me tot it was just another false alarm so I decided to grab a cheapo preg test kit (just SGD9).

Turned out to be : TWO LINES. WOW. The night that changed my life forever ♥.♥

Since the second line was pretty faint, we went to the clinic two days later. But guess what? 

The doc said he wasn't able to confirm the pregnancy bcz the second line was faint, again. -________-

As I betui die die wanted to know, I made my way to Watsons after that to grab another test kit (this time better brand HAHAHA).

It turned out to be 'PREGNANT' so YAYYYYY! ♥.♥

*Monday13th Jan*

Hubby and I went to the gynae to confirm the pregnancy, before breaking the news to our parents.

The moment when I saw my baby via ultrasound, I was tearing! (':

So, the doc confirmed the pregnancy and baby is in the right position! SO YAYYYY I am officially preg!  ♥.♥

At this point, I knew I had to give up smoking and my monthly gelish mani pedi appt (baking ur nails under the UV lights during pregnancy is not advisable).

But I'm more than willing to make any sacrifices for my bb as long as it is beneficial to him / her.

P/S : I am really happy that my dream came true! I've always wanted to be a young mum :DD

*Sunday 19th Jan*

The night before I flew to BKK, I had this 'spotting' going on T_______T

Ohmygod I was crying and even tot of canceling the trip. Called my gynae the next morning and he said it was alright, I just had to to increase the hormone pills he gave to me (to stabilize the pregnancy).

 

My spotting got worse on our last day in BKK so once we touched down SG, we went straight to the hospital.

Thank gawd everything was fine! I was crying when we stepped out from the doc's room bcz I was worried sick.

Howey Jr, do you know that you mean so much to Mummy? ♥

*Wednesday 22nd Jan*

Wow I went to the gynae 3 times in just 9 days.The fees cost us bout SGD600 already? WTF.

Wasn't feeling quite well after my BKK trip, I've pretty much lost my appetite due to nausea and doc said it might get worse durin CNY WTF.

But it was not until CNY that I've started to experience vomiting. Like serious vomiting. 

Threw up every meal, I could barely eat. Worst part? There were blood streaks in my vomit!

I've vomited too much that I've hurt my esophagus, I could even feel the pain when I breathe.

It was a horror to see yourself vomiting blood. No joke! ): ): ):

*Thursday 6th Feb*

Back in Penang for CNY Celebration. I was taking medicines from TCM, so I was feeling a lil bit better?

I was still vomiting pretty often sigh.

Got to see bb's heartbeat today! ♥

I tot I was doing better so I returned to SG on that weekend. The moment I touched down SG, everything turned out to be a nightmare again. ):

I guess my BB hates SG hehehe!

*Wednesday 12th Feb*

Everyday, all I can do was lying in my bed and vomiting after every meal. Could hardly step out from the house because I had pretty serious shortness of breathe.

Did I mention that I heard my baby's heartbeat today? ♥.♥ SHOO GAM DONG PLS!

Flew back to Penang a week later so that my personal nurse, Mummy Ong, can take care of me ♥

*Friday 7th March*

Back in Penang, vomiting got worse. Howey Jr, you dont like Penang too? :/

There was once I threw up for 10times! Cant even take any food, fluid and medicines! ):

Sigh, the toilet bowl is like my new boyfie, I hug it more often than I hug my hubby WTF.

 

Finally, my first trimester is over and I can announce my pregnancy! :DD

BB was rubbing his eyes (what his dad does best) when doc did the scanning. Like Father Like Son ♥

 *Tuesday 25th March*

Went for my check up today and this time my naughty bb didn't rub his eyes anymore. 

He was sucking his thumb HAHAHAHA! Buay tahan, every time check up sure got pattern to show.

*Saturday 3rd May*

If you're wondering how do I look like right now, here is the answer to ur curiosity! :P HEHEHE.

I am currently 5 months pregnant and I just found out the gender today! :DD 

So what do you think? A girl or a boy? (:

Hehehehe so yeaaaa, it's a bb boy ♥ It came to me as a surprise because I was expecting a bb girl!

Previously he was hiding his ding dong by crossing his legs (Hehehe a shy boyboy!) but today damn proud laa him, showed to us twice samo HAHAHA.

I'm so gonna dress up my Howey Jr like this! Aviator glasses x Loafers x Plaid shirt. 

Chio siaaaa. Then next time take OOTD shots with Mami okie? HEHEHEHE ♥

How I Met Your Father ♥

 29 March 2013 saw me hanging out with my BFF as it was a PH (Good Friday). Her fren, Howey (ur Dad), then tagged along. The first impression ur Dad gave to me : GUAI. HAHAHA! That night, we were hanging out at one of the noisiest pub in Clarke Quay with the rest of the Penangites. Since it was shoo noisy we could hardly talk, I was added to their group chat in Whatsapp. And that was how ur Dad got my num. (Alright he didn't ask from me personally NOT FAIR!)

He then started to deliver my fav bubble milk tea to my workplace, brought me to Zouk when I told him I wanted to club shoo badly, and... asking me out on a date. Well, I sort of turned him down *ooppsss* as I just hopped back to my single life and not interested in any BGR (Boy Girl Relationship) at that moment. To me, he was a great BFF. I have endless topics to talk to him and I feel relli comfortable whenever he's around.

Ur Dad is a guy who is good in giving me surprises, but sometimes it happens too often I can even see it coming :P HAHAHAHA. He works as multi products delivery guy, from milk tea to flowers, breakfast to dinner, sometimes soft toys too! How hardworking right? HAHAHA. Although we stay quite far from each other, he would wake up supaaa early to buy me breakfast before I go to work. Little by little, he managed to make me think 'Hey, this guy is seriously not bad! Y not give him a chance?'

My bday celebration was at USS with him and that was when I realized I can be myself whenever he's around. We could go crazy together but when it comes to work, we can just turn on the serious mode anytime. So, I decided to give him the green light on my bday (:

Thanks to him, flower deliveries are so familiar to me. These flowers never fail to make my day ♥

U should marry a man who can cook really well, just like ur Dad. (Oops I am really assuming my bb is a girl HAHAHA).

When we were in Bangkok, he brought me to this fine dining restaurant called Long Table.

And that ques popped up, 'Will you marry me?'.  Alright it was relli awkward when everyone in the restaurant was lookin at us when he knelt down. So I asked him to propose again when we were in the hotel, just the both of us HAHA

I feel relli lucky to have ur Dad as husband. He has been a great boyfriend, great hubby and I'm sure he's gonna be a great Daddy! Mum and Dad are waiting for your arrival ♥

Was exposed to an ample amount of horror, a tragedy that killed my late boss x his dad. I left that company later that month.

Papa and Mama Ong were here in SG for vacation during the Raya holidays.

It was also my boy's first meet-the-parents session. Not that bad laaa, my mum gave him a Distinction leh HAHAHA.

*September 2013*

First business trip with the boss after joining the company. Im glad that the collaboration went well (:

  Second New Year in SG, but this time I was not alone. Thankiuuu 2013 for giving me a great Boyfie, no one dotes on me like he does. To me, he's my sweetest thing ILY Baby ♥
